Panduit Wins Oracle “Enable the Eco-Enterprise” Award
Panduit has won the prestigious Oracle 2009 “Enable the Eco-Enterprise” Award, presented at Oracle® OpenWorld. This award recognizes Panduit’s ongoing implementation of innovative, sustainable business practices that leverage Oracle solutions to develop and deploy energy-efficient physical infrastructure solutions.
Panduit is constructing a new World Headquarters building using Oracle solutions to drive operational efficiencies throughout the structure. This building is expected to achieve LEED Gold certification, reflecting the Panduit mission to promote the design and construction of buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work. Specifically, Oracle will enable business rules and the integrated flow of information to drive energy efficiencies and cost savings throughout all Panduit facilities.

Electrical Contracting Products presents Innovation Award to PANDUIT
PANDUIT
® Pan-Way PMR 5/7 Metal Raceway and the PANDUIT® StructuredGround Direct Burial Compression Grounding System were named as finalists in the 2008 Electrical Contracting Product Innovation Awards.

The awards were presented in October 2008 at the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Trade Show in Chicago to recognize outstanding companies whose products or services best respond to the challenges of the electrical contractors’ market.

Finalists were selected from more than 160 submitted products based on innovation, ease of use, cost effectiveness, quality, maintainability, and productivity improvements.

Frost & Sullivan Lauds PANDUIT for Outstanding Integrated Green Solution for Data Center Cooling

Based on its analysis of the data center facilities infrastructure solutions, Frost & Sullivan recognized PANDUIT with the 2008 North American Green Excellence Award in Service Proposition.

PANDUIT earned this award for its determined efforts in offering a flexible yet dynamic turnkey solution towards enabling an efficient infrastructure within the data center environment. The PANDUIT solution takes a holistic approach toward data center design and efficiency by balancing a suitably designed cabling infrastructure with desired power and cooling thresholds that are reliable, interoperable, and scalable.

When presenting the award Frost & Sullivan noted that “the solution overcomes the most significant physical infrastructure challenges to the data center customer today – managing the risk associated with infrastructure convergence.”

PANDUIT accepted the award on June 11 in San Diego, CA.

The 2008 Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leadership Award of the Year was given to PANDUIT for its accomplishments in the North American Rack & Rack Options category. PANDUIT was recognized for achievements including a demonstrated ability to increase market share and enhance the value of product ownership for its existing and potential customers.

PANDUIT was selected after a rigorous research process during which Frost & Sullivan ranked all the manufacturers in this category, their products, their unique value-added services to customers, and their ability to help customers overcome challenges in emerging applications.

In its award Frost & Sullivan noted that “leading edge technology, combined with strong and dedicated customer service and support capabilities will ensure that Panduit remains at the forefront of the rack and rack options market in the future.”

The National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA) named PANDUIT the 2008 Interconnect, Passive, and Electromechanical Components Manufacturer of the Year. This award recognizes manufacturer-suppliers that best exemplify the spirit of cooperation in the electronic distribution industry.

This certificate demonstrates PANDUIT’s continued commitment to use energy efficiently, reduce energy consumption, minimize our ecological footprint, and support local and global partner Green programs. 

Sony Green Partner Standards were established to facilitate environmental management activities in compliance with ISO14001. PANDUIT Singapore PTE, Ltd. earned Green Partner status after completing a rigorous audit procedure by Sony that measured strict compliance with environmental regulations and ensured procurement of specified raw materials from another Green Partner, among other criteria.

As a Sony Green Partner, PANDUIT (and its distributors) are pre-approved to supply products manufactured in our Singapore facility to both Sony and their global subcontractors.

PANDUIT Named Finalist, Best of INTEROP 2008

PANDUIT was named Best of Show Finalist at INTEROP 2008 in the Network Management, Software & Services category with the introduction of PANDUIT® PanView iQ and Physical Infrastructure Manager (PIM) software.

A key component of the PANDUIT Unified Physical Infrastructure, this new system consolidates all active management hardware into intelligent patch panels which require no additional rack space, enabling organizations to cost-effectively scale their installations.

The system was also featured on the Tech Radar blog hosted by Information Week.

Network Middle East Innovation Awards

PANDUIT won the Best Cabling Product Range Award at the May 2008 Network Middle East (NME) Innovation Awards competition.

The NME Innovation Awards honor the projects, people, suppliers and service providers that have excelled in the regional networking sector. Awards are presented to the very best implementations, vendor offerings and key individuals and organizations in the market.

Entries were judged by an expert panel whose members consisted of representatives from companies such as Fluke and IT directors from local end user companies. PANDUIT earned this award in a strong field of competitors including Nexans, R&M, Ortronics, Molex, Leviton and Amp.
