PANTHER^™ LS8(E) Thermal Transfer Printer

The PANTHER™ LS8(E) Hand-Held Thermal Transfer Printer prints high quality, industrial labels on a wide variety of materials for electrical and network applications such as wire/cable, components, safety and facility identification. The printer uses label cassettes that contain an integrated memory device for automatic formatting, recall of last legend used and number of labels remaining on cassette. The fast loading label cassettes include both label material and ribbon to make changing labels easy.

The compact and rugged PANTHER™ LS8(E) is easy to use and fits comfortably in one hand. The large, backlit display makes the PANTHER™ LS8(E) the ideal tool for printing labels at a remote job site. USB interface for importing data, system upgrades and printing labels from a wireless laptop or desktop computer.

The LS8E printer is now available with either the standard ABC keypad (LS8E) or the new QWERTY keypad (LS8EQ)

Downloadable Symbols
– Includes a new downloadable symbols function that allows you to store up to 10 custom graphic images* on your LS8E printer to take to a job site! The images are transferred from your computer to your LS8E printer through PANTHER Link Software version 2.0, which includes a pre-loaded library of 60 symbols!
Flag Labels
– LS8E firmware version 2.0.5 must be installed on your LS8E in order to print on the new P1 flag label cassette part number, F100X150AJC. Flag labels are designed to be easily wrapped around wires and cables in a flag format. The text is automatically formatted to print on both sides of the flag for easy installation and improved visibility.

*Custom image files must be saved as 150 X 150 pixels, monochrome bitmap (.bmp) files

PANTHERLINK™ Software

PANTHERLINK™ allows you to import data from Microsoft Excel^, download custom graphic images, upgrade the LS8(E) printer firmware, and print labels from a computer using PANDUIT® Easy-Mark™ Labeling Software. PANTHER Link software version 2.0 includes improvements for USB driver installation and a new downloadable symbols function. 

Compatible with Windows 2000, NT, XP, and Vista.
