PRESS RELEASE

At the Pulse of Sustainable Development

Panduit is now a member of the House of Energy network

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, 23.05.2024 – Since the beginning of the year, the US family-owned company has been strengthening the expertise profile of the House of Energy network, the think tank for forward-looking energy projects in the German state of Hesse.

With around 50 members from business, science and research, the House of Energy is committed to a sustainable energy system and covers all relevant areas of energy transition with its expertise.

As a leading global provider of innovative solutions for the physical and electrical infrastructure of data centres, industry, buildings and renewable energy, Panduit brings extensive expertise to the table. The company's electrical and networking products ensure stability and security in IT and industry. Panduit's software and hardware solutions contribute to reliable, efficient and sustainable energy management, for example by monitoring and reducing power consumption in data centres.

"Data centres are part of the smart grid, just like wind power and photovoltaics, our other focus areas. We are delighted to be part of the House of Energy and to help shape the sustainable energy future," says Ralph Lolies, Panduit's Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prof Peter Birkner, Managing Director of the House of Energy, welcomes the addition: "With Panduit we have gained a strong and globally active partner. The energy transition and the necessary technologies must be considered globally and implemented regionally. Panduit's products play an important role in many infrastructure projects and thus support the establishment of the energy system of the future".

"The energy transition is one of the greatest challenges of our time, and we believe that by pooling our expertise in the House of Energy we are making an important contribution to meeting this challenge," says Ralph Lolies.
