At Panduit, our number one priority is helping our customers achieve greater efficiencies, improve profitability, and exceed even their own expectations. Below, you’ll find some examples of how the work we’ve done to make our customers successful has garnered us recognition as well.
OH&S recognized the VeriSafe 2.0 Absence of Voltage Tester for its innovative way to test for the absence of voltage safely, reliably, and efficiently with exposure to electrical hazards.
The winning case study application highlighted how Japan’s Kawachinagano City Board of Education selected Panduit products for all the wiring materials and parts to be installed for their GIGA schools including its Advanced Vari-MaTriX Category 6A cables, field term plugs, and patch cords.
CI&M recognized the innovative RapidID™ Network Mapping System as a practical alternative to traditional manual approaches to the cable documentation process with a solution using patch cords pre-labeled with unique barcodes and a Bluetooth®-enabled handheld scanner to automate labeling, tracing, and troubleshooting.
The FieldCord™ Connector was recognized by CI&M for being designed specifically to connect devices such as cameras and access points that have small openings for cords or plugs.
The FlexCore™ ODF system was recognized for enabling a consolidated patch cord length to be used between a single, double, or quad frame arrangement, freeing up capital that is tied up in holding inventory, and ensuring the customer always has the right parts on hand.
The enhanced PanMPO™ Fiber Connector was recognized by CI&M for its innovative push-pull boot that allows for easy installation and removal, as well as it has the ability to change gender and polarity without additional tools.
The SmartZone™ UPS was recognized by CI&M for its delivery of highly efficient and reliable power protection and backup power for IT equipment by providing excellent electrical performance, intelligent battery management, enhanced intelligent monitoring, secure network functions, and a long lifespan for lithium units.
The Wire Basket Overhead Cable Tray Routing System was recognized for contributing to effective space utilization, reduced installation time, and network performance by providing a greater strength-to-weight ratio than other wire baskets as well as the design of its wire mesh grid pattern which allows greater amounts of cables and QuickNet Cassettes to pass grid openings without additional cutting.
Single Pair Ethernet, receiving platinum honoree, is a seamless single protocol network from application edge to the cloud. SPE simplifies network design and operation, eliminating the support and translation of legacy network protocols used in OT networks.
The PanZone® TrueEdge™ Wall Mount Enclosure, receiving gold honoree, minimizes network infrastructure investment by providing a solution to eliminate a rack or cabinet.
The FlexFusion™ Cabinet, receiving gold honoree, offers a unique universal platform for all types of data centers and servicing needs including Hyperscale, Edge, and Colocation. The cabinet is built with a best-in-class weight load of 3,500 lbs., doors with a maximum airflow of 80%, and custom configurations to meet network needs.
Adjustable Depth 4-Post Racks, receiving silver honoree, combine the stability of a cabinet with the accessibility of an open rack to provide users with maximum flexibility when designing the network layout.
The TX6A™ FieldCord™ Connectors, receiving silver honoree, enable connection to devices in the most confined cable routing paths and has the capability to be re-terminated up to 20 times with no additional parts.
The HD Fusion Wall Mount Enclosure was recognized by CI&M as a fiber cabling solution that houses, organizes, manages, and protects cable-to-cable fusion splice connections and comes in two different sizes to splice up to 3,456 fibers or 6,912 fibers.
CI&M recognized the HD Flex™ Zone Raised Floor Enclosure as a structured cabling solution that saves valuable real estate in the data center by allowing cable terminations below raised floors, helping to relieve rack and cabinet congestion.
The CI&M Platinum winning case study highlights the 14-year partnership between UC Davis Medical Center, Panduit, and General Cable. The medical center is supported by four data centers (one on-premises and three colocation facilities), and more than 250 telecommunications rooms. The campus has more than 70,000 cable drops, equating to more than 140,000 Panduit connectors, and more than 12 million feet (more than 2,300 miles) of cable.
CI&M recognized the PatchRunner™ 2 Cable Management System as a cabling solution that manages growing cable densities, larger network equipment, and increasing energy usage.
