Atlona celebrates anniversary at professional audio-video world fair

ISE 2023

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, 12.01.2023 – Atlona announces numerous innovations in the areas of collaboration, connectivity and control at the world's largest trade fair for professional audio-video technology, ISE 2023. From 31 January to 3 February 2023, visitors will experience live demos of real-world applications at Atlona in Barcelona. 

Frankfurt am Main, December 2022 - Atlona, a leading provider of professional audio-video technology, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2023. The innovation leader, which is part of the American family-owned company Panduit, will present several cutting-edge products and application demonstrations to experience and try out at ISE 2023. These real-life scenarios show how new customer needs, current industry trends and Panduit's AV/IT vision will determine Atlona's future direction.

Atlona's history began 20 years ago in a garage in Silicon Valley as a manufacturer of cables, adapters and video converters sold directly to private end users. Twelve years ago, Atlona presented digital connectivity solutions for the markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the first time at the ISE. Since then, the industry leader from California has used the ISE as a leading trade fair for decisive product presentations. These include, 4K/UHD extension via HDBaseT in 2015, collaboration systems for softcodec-based conference platforms in 2016, IP-based AV control (Velocity) in 2017 and wireless BYOD (AT-OME-52W) in 2020. It quickly becomes clear to trade fair visitors that Atlona is always one step ahead of its time.

Atlona is coming to ISE 2023 (Fira Barcelona Gran Via, 31 January to 3 February, Stand 5J500) with a key announcement on its award-winning AV over IP platform OmniStream. Visitors to the stand will learn about the advanced features that raise the bar for visual quality, performance and integration convenience in networked AV deployments. Atlona will showcase the latest innovations in its Velocity, Omega, Captivate and HDR product portfolios. The multitude of new product launches, as well as the sleek redesign of the booth to highlight Atlona's focus on the enterprise and education sectors, demonstrate Panduit's continued investment in the company's future.

Atlona will present novelties from its main product lines in three targeted demonstrations:

• Corporate Zone – This area focuses on automation solutions for meeting rooms. Atlona will demonstrate how to reduce start-up times and simplify presentation and collaboration. Live demos will show how users take control of USB peripherals for laptop-driven presentations with the Omega AT-OME-MS42 switch. In doing so, users share their content from PCs, tablets and smartphones without cables via the AT-WAVE-101 presentation platform. Atlona's new Captivate products for conference rooms, such as the AT-CAP-FC110 ePTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera and the AT-CAP-SP100 speakerphone, will be unveiled for the first time at ISE. Visitors will see how Atlona's AT-OCS-900N network-ready presence sensor and Velocity AV Control work together. This illustrates how background automation and active control can be improved, as well as simplifying use. 
  
  
• Education Zone - In the replica lecture theatre of the future, the focus is on easy and fast connectivity for teachers using video and audio systems. Atlona demonstrates how the Omega series AT-OME-PS62 switch supports various connectivity options such as HDMI, USB or DisplayPort for teaching and learning. In the process, interactive whiteboards are integrated into the application. The AT-GAIN-120 audio amplifier provides distributed audio for pupils and students in the teaching room. At the same time, the AT-HDVS-CAM PTZ cameras work together with the OME-PS62 presentation switch to support both physical and virtual participating students with the same system. 
  
  
• Control Products Zone - Six years ago, Atlona launched the award-winning Velocity as the industry's first IP-based AV control system. At ISE 2023, Atlona will debut Velocity Premier Services - Remote Gateway (AT-VPS-RG), a powerful online resource for integrators and system operators. Visitors will learn how to remotely configure, manage and support multiple rooms over the Internet with the VPS-RG Remote Configuration Management and Control System. New room configuration and management features for Velocity physical hardware gateways, software gateways and touch panels will also be presented.

Also at ISE 2023, Atlona will introduce its next generation of HDR distribution amplifiers, highlighting Atlona's continued innovation for installed HDBaseT systems. More details on these and other new products will follow in January.
